  1. Mr. Adolphe is a Senior Partner with IPSS, LLC. Mr. Adolphe also is the founder and former CEO of OPTIMUS Corporation, which he led in its development into a premier Federal Defense and Homeland Security Government contractor. OPTIMUS was acquired in December 2006. Initially funded with a pocket full of credit cards, OPTIMUS grew from a one person consultancy in 1992 to a 400 person firm with approximately $70 million in annual revenue in 2006 and successfully transitioned out of the 8(a) program.

  9. Adolphe also successfully executed the acquisition of several companies. While at OPTIMUS, Adolphe was responsible for developing the company’s Code of Ethics, making OPTIMUS one of the first in the region with a codified set or principles. Through his leadership, OPTIMUS was named as a winner of the 2003 National Capital Business Ethics Award.

  10. Adolphe also won the National Society of Black Engineers’ 2006 Innovators in Technology Award and the 2002 Maryland High-Tech Council’s “Entrepreneur of the Year Award.” Adolphe was included as one of 11 individuals in the “Women & Minority Innovators” exhibit at the National Inventors Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio – where he was recognized for design of the Federal Aviation Administration’s “Mini-Telecommunications Demarcation System,” and NASA’s “Quality Assurance Data Collection System.” He also was featured in a PBS documentary, “Voices of Vision.”

  11. Currently, Adolphe is an Adjunct Professor at American University, Kogod School of Business where he teaches Management 386, Entrepreneurship. Adolphe also serves as an IPSS consultant to entrepreneurial organizations where he provides Executive Leadership coaching, strategic planning support, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) support, business capture coaching, and business process improvement support.

  12. In 1988 Adolphe earned a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.E.E.E) in Electrical Engineering from the City College of New York and is a 2001 Cum Laude graduate of the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Adolphe has been a member of the Maryland Bar since 2001. In 2002, Adolphe received certificates from MICPEL for alternate dispute resolution (ADR), mediation and conflict resolution. Adolphe also successfully completed the FBI Citizen’s Academy in 2001.
